At East Texas Training Services, leadership, experience, and a passion for education come together through our founder and Head of Instruction and Operations, Hunter Nash.

Hunter brings more than 10 years of experience as a paramedic, serving in a variety of leadership roles throughout his career. He currently serves full-time as a District Supervisor for a fast-paced EMS agency, where he oversees operations, supports field personnel, and helps ensure the highest standards of patient care.

In addition to his operational experience, Hunter has dedicated over 7 years to EMS and healthcare education, teaching everyone from new healthcare providers to experienced clinicians. His instructional background includes training:

At East Texas Training Services, we’re proud to introduce Thurston “TJ” Rushing, one of our experienced instructors who brings real-world emergency medicine expertise to every class he teaches.

TJ has spent more than 10 years working as a paramedic, serving in a fast-paced, trauma-heavy EMS system where critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and lifesaving interventions were part of his daily routine. His extensive field experience gives students practical knowledge that goes far beyond the textbook.

TJ’s passion for fi****ms, tactical medicine, and emergency preparedness has made him our go-to expert in Tactical Field Medicine. He combines his emergency medical background with tactical training principles to help students understand how to respond effectively during high-stress and potentially dangerous situations.

At East Texas Training Services, we are proud to have Isaac Sanchez leading our Fire Safety and Prevention training programs.

Isaac brings over 10 years of experience as a paramedic along with several years serving as a firefighter in a high-volume, fast-paced fire department. His real-world emergency response experience provides students with valuable insight into fire prevention, fire behavior, and life-saving safety practices.

As our Lead Fire Safety Instructor, Isaac specializes in delivering engaging, hands-on training that prepares students to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations. His ability to connect classroom concepts with real-life scenarios makes every class both educational and memorable.
