The Reading Tutor - Ludington The Reading Tutor provides 1:1 tutoring in reading for students Kindergarten through 4th grade. My name is Michelle Hansen and I am a K-8 certified teacher.

I offer private reading tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Each child receives a battery of assessments (handwriting, letter sounds, blending, segmenting, auditory processing, fluency, word attack, word identification and comprehension). These tests help me to tailor each child's instruction. The assessments are also used to monitor the child's progress. This service is based

at my home in Ludington, Michigan. I primarily offer tutoring in June, July and August, but also have some sessions available during the school year. These sessions are limited and are first come first serve. Sessions are $20 for 45 minutes. I attended Northern Michigan University and have 20 years of teaching experience at Hart Public Schools. AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING UPDATE -

Tutor sessions will be on pause until I can re-evaluate the state of things. I’m hoping to start back up in January, if not sooner. Schools in Mason and Oceana County moving to stage 5 could move up the timeline. Stay safe and healthy. 😷
