The crochet cuties moved around a bit today at Avenue's End Mini-Mall in Ludington. There are just a few weeks left to snag a crochet cutie before the store closes on Oct 17th. Be sure to stop by and check out all the great finds next time you are here! 🧶

I am so grateful for the sales and traffic that my crochet cuties have been receiving at Avenue's End Mini-Mall in Ludington. This is a blessing and curse at the same time since all my items are handmade. I am doing my best but it has been difficult to keep up. So I have had to make the decision to not attend the Labor Day Weekend event at Kibby Creek Campground in Ludington. I am working to stock shelves at the store but this will be limited as the store is closing in Oct and I also need to prep for the Midland event Halloween weekend. Please let me know if you have any specific items that you would like to pick up in the store before the doors close in October. 🧶

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the Christmas in July event this Saturday in Coopersville, MI. Please go visit the event if you are in the area and support other local crafters that are attending!

My next event will be close to home for The Labor Day Weekend Craft & Vendor Show at Kibby Creek Campground in Ludington, MI on September 5th 9am-1pm.

I am also excited to say that I will be sharing the crochet cuties in Midland, MI this fall for C2PC Expo. 🧶

I had my 1st experience being at a market with the factory made “crochet” vendors. I knew this existed and if you have been to Hobby Lobby or some other retailers, you’ve seen the “crochet” flowers or animals on a stick that you can buy. While at the Farmington Founders Festival, I encountered 2 of these vendors. They clearly purchase their items from Temu, Aliexpress, or the other cheap wholesale sites you can go to. These items are all factory made items and not handmade by crafters but both of these vendors claimed to have made them or members of their family do. I was not able to take pictures of their booths because I was busy educating them that I knew they were lying, so I easily found pics from Google because these types of vendors are popping up everywhere. The yarn used and the stitches had an extra loop in them gave it away, but they held to their stories. Yes their prices are going to be lower than most true handmade vendor but that’s because they paid pennies for it. Please, please, please do not buy from these vendors!!!
