Today, our teachers were back, and what a great day it was!
Across the district, staff engaged in deep, focused discussions around building a strong culture, using formative assessments to support student learning, and preparing our students to be truly future-ready. There was great learning, meaningful collaboration, and plenty of thoughtful conversation as we kicked off the 2026–27 school year together.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a great first day back without a little laughter, too! The elementary staff had some fun poking at Mr. Tim Hansen with shirts featuring the now-famous phrase: “I don’t think so, Tim!” Apparently, someone has been spending a little too much time channeling their inner Al Borland from Home Improvement. 😄
Deep thinking, meaningful collaboration, and a few good laughs along the way...it was a great day to be an Oriole!
