Bring your sheet music (optional) and instruments if you have em, and bring your voice to blow the roof off with your favorite showtunes! We’ll see you at Kbird on Thursday for this extra-special live band jam karaoke night!

This is the last month of our current play reading club cohort and a new session starts up in September - the perfect club for anyone looking to get a little more theatre in their life (and read some great roles!)

Join us the third Thursday night of each month in Leesburg to read through a contemporary theatrical masterpiece - no previous experience with theatre or acting needed. The cost of admission for 6 months also includes a field trip to see a professional show in DC with the group. Come join in the fun!

Musical Theatre Club (for Kids!) is a group for creative kids who love to perform and want to hone their skills while also having a ton of fun! Through this 6-month (18 class) course kids aged 7-15 will take the lead (with plenty of guidance) through scripting, designing, composing music for, rehearsing, and completing a live public performance of their own original theatrical work!

Our first meeting is the last Monday in September, with a final performance taking place the last weekend in March. Email [email protected] for more information and to see a full schedule of class dates (which will also be posted on our website soon!)

This weekend in Berryville (and then next month in DC) we’re teaming up with Helena Goldberg to sing some musical theatre karaoke - jam pass style! All ages welcome for this weekend, 21+ next month when we head to DC and pop-up at Kbird for round 2!

That’s a wrap on God of Carnage! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see this production, to Faith Chapel Gathering Place Lucketts for hosting, and to this amazing cast and crew for a job well done!

Last time we wrapped up a show we already knew what was coming next for our fledgling theatre company. This time we have a few things just over the horizon (Live band musical theatre karaoke! Kids’ musical theatre club starting up soon! Another session of play reading club starting in September!) but aren’t quite ready to announce our second season of shows yet. In fact, we won’t be ready until this fall when we’ve locked in some season sponsors (29 to be exact) - so finding those strategic partners is our next big priority.

If you (or your business) is interested in being a season sponsor we’ll be sharing more about that on our feed in the coming weeks and via Stories today. Three different price points will be available so any size business is able to participate in the creation of a new professional theatre company in Loudoun County. We hope to create relationships with our sponsoring partners that are mutually beneficial, and having the rights for our next year of shows covered will allow us to apply grants and other funding sources towards increased production value and stipends for our production team(s).

But until we get there, we’ll be sitting in appreciation for the folks who made God of Carnage such a success. Thank you once again to:

In God of Carnage the character Michael catches some flack for helping their family hamster, Nibbles, “escape” in New York City. It seems like Nibbles somehow made his way to Leesburg and had a lovely day on the town!

One more weekend to see this fantastic play at Faith Chapel Gathering Place Lucketts in Lucketts! Tickets are just $20-25 and if you join us for this Sunday’s matinee we’re hosting a social hour afterwards. Join the cast and crew for tea (hot and iced) and clafoutis (a traditional French cake served in the show!)

One more weekend of shows to watch these two couples go at it - get ready for the carnage!

God of Carnage takes the stage at Faith Chapel Gathering Place for All Faith Chapel Gathering Place Lucketts in pastoral Lucketts, VA. Produced by CRAFT Theatre Company, who previously presented their staged concert production of Into the Woods in the Faith Chapel theatre. Directed by Vanessa Borg, Stage Managed by Rene Koch. A cast of talented local actors bring these tense and comedic characters to life, including:

After Sunday’s matinee performance the Novak and Raleigh couples will be on their best behavior, as audience members are invited to join the cast and crew for an informal talkback, tea, and clafoutis in the fellowship hall. Clafoutis is a traditional French cake (or is it a tart?) that is brought up several times in the show. Come sample Veronica’s recipe yourself and see what all the fuss is about!

The Novaks and the Raleighs invite you to join them after our Sunday matinee this week for tea and clafoutis (claw-fou-tea) in the fellowship hall!

There’s a lot of talk in the show about this traditional French cake (or is it a tart?) so we’ll be giving the audience at our final show the opportunity to sample Veronica’s recipe for themselves and decide what they think of it. Tea, both warm and iced, as well as an informal talkback with the cast and production crew will take place after the performance as well. We hope you’ll join us Sunday at 2pm at Faith Chapel Gathering Place Lucketts
