🧪Little Scientist Camp🧪
AQA hosted our first summer camp and had the BEST time! Our little scientists practiced being chemists, meteorologists, marine biologists, and rocket scientists. Lots of fun and lots of learning all at the same time 🌦️🥼🚀🦈

▪️Finished our learning standards for the school year
▪️Baked bread as a gift to our dads for Father's Day
▪️Completed Kindergarten & Prek4 with an Inside Out themed graduation ceremony
▪️Celebrated the last day of school with a pool party at Mrs. Mel's
▪️Included our summer birthdays into our pool party
▪️Concluded our months long science study of tadpoles by releasing them into a pond

What a year it has been! Educating the whole child gives a unique perspective of just how much growth each child experiences. These children are known, cherished, and loved by so many. 🤍

AQA is here to keep those skills moving and grooving this summer! Our goal is to get our preschool friends ready for Kindergarten and give those headed to 1st grade an excellent review of the skills they'll need in August. We have 2 fun options to choose from:

🌈March was magical🌈
🟪Rainbow everything! We read rainbow books (fiction & nonfiction), completed rainbow experiments, and produced beautiful rainbow crafts.
🟪celebrated the Spring equinox by going on a nature walk and reading a book on the trampoline
🟪experienced the March Homeschool Day at the Mississippi Aquarium where we dove into the study of whales
🟪learned the stories of Holy Week: Palm Sunday, The Last Supper, The Crucifixion, Resurrection Day, and Ascending to Heaven -- these sweet children soak up more than you realize!
🟪continued our reading, writing, and arithmetic + unstructured playtime
We will miss one another during our Spring Break! Once we return, we will be working to complete our studies and prep for graduation.
