The Gates Scholarsip is open for applications.
To apply, students must be:
* a high school senior
* Pell -eligible (Determined by completing the FAFSA which opens on October 1, 2026.)
* A US citizen or permanent resident
* In a good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on 4.0 scale.
* Must plan to enroll full-time in a four year degree program at a US accredited, not for profit, private or public university.

Application deadline is September 15, 2026. Please visit the website for additional information.

🚨GOOD NEWS!!!🚨
GCHS is offering an ACT Prep course for the 2026-2027 school year. This nine-week course will be available to 10th -12th grade students. If you would like to add the ACT prep course to your course requests for the upcoming school year, please check your student email for the Google form sent by Allyson Howard. The deadline to complete the form is Friday, June 12th.

2026 Seniors 🎓
If you completed the Google form or emailed a request for your official transcript to be sent to a college/university/recruiter, it was sent today. Please alllow processing time for your college/university. It may take several days to a week or more before it is reflected on your student account.
If you need to request for your official transcript to be sent to a college/university, you may complete a request form in the front office.
Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM -12:00 PM.

One more thing:
If you took a DUAL CREDIT course at GCHS and would like to transfer the college credit to another institution, you will need to request for MGCCC to send a transcript to your college/university that you will be attending. Follow the link below to the transcript request page.
