The Texas Tech School of Music is proud to host the 2021 Band & Orchestra Camp! Activities in ensembles, master classes, electives, and performances, as well as various social and recreational settings serve to provide a broad and enjoyable week of music and collaboration. The camp is comprised of five advanced bands, two middle school bands, two full orchestras, one string orchestra, and several

medium sized ensembles (jazz band and instrumental choirs). Traditional music coursework including theory, conducting, private lessons, and chamber music are also offered. Our Auxiliary Camp includes:
Twirling - instruction provided by the National Championship Coach Bethany Tolley
Color Guard - instruction provided by Texas Tech Alumnus and Goin' Band Coach Amanda Knight
Drum Major & Leadership - instruction is provided by SASI Leadership and Goin' Band Drum Majors

Dorm Reminders!

Clean your room and pack all of your things. Open all drawers, the closet, and the cabinets, and leave them open. Take out the trash.

Find a college counselor to check that your room is clear of your belongings and clean. If you cannot find a counselor on your floor, they may be assisting another camper on your floor; if you have looked around and can’t find a counselor, we will send someone up to assist you.

Take your belongings to your car/the lobby. If you brought any medication, pick it up from the nurse.
Come to the Basement Help Desk for check-out. You will need to turn in your room key and swipe card. The fee for a lost dorm room key is $50, and the fee for a lost swipe card is $25. TTU accepts check, cash, and credit card.

When you come to the checkout table, student and parent/guardian must both be present, and parents/guardians must show a photo ID. If you are leaving with someone other than your primary guardian, we must have an End-Of-Camp Check Out Form on file with the camp. Once you are checked out and have performed your concert, you are free to leave – see you next year!
