Operating as usual

Not where we wanted to end the day. After a couple bad matches to end qualifying we finished ranked 22, but didn’t get selected for an alliance. We are still so proud of our Iron Plainsmen and can’t wait to compete again in a couple of weeks.

We had a wonderful time hosting the cub scouts pack 536! We worked on coding, made solar power cars, and drove robots! It was a great night.

Parker Lipetsa is working on the social media campaign along with the spirit team to gain awareness of this year’s robotics team with the display of pride and sportsmanship through the media.

Evan: “I like this year’s competition a lot because I have been given a very important role of being the Project Manager. It is very stressful but I have really enjoyed this year’s competition and working with all of the teams.”

Diego has been doing the finishing touches on the marketing presentation and its script. The team has been working on their final presentations to prepare for the competition this Saturday.

Cameron Davis: “Programming team has been lots of fun because I have enjoyed working with my team and problem-solving. One of my favorite moments from this year’s competition is trying to code the autonomous mode.”

Dimitri Hamilton: “What I like most about this year’s competition is that the Sponsors have asked me to step up and be a leader of the Field Team. It has been lots of fun being in charge of creating a replica of the field.”
