The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences in the College of Health and Human Sciences at Texas Tech University invites applications for TWO full-time, 9-month Lecturer positions in Human Development and Family Sciences to begin September 1, 2026. The duty point for these positions will be Lubbock, Texas.

As a faculty member in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, you will be expected to: 1) contribute to the teaching mission of the department through delivery of face-to-face and online courses; 2) participate in professional development related to teaching; and 3) provide service to the department. We are hiring a 12-month, full-time Lecturer to begin August 1, 2026. This position is 100% online teaching of 8-week courses that are offered as part of five 8-week terms throughout the year. Faculty must be able to teach a wide variety of HDFS courses and this can be a fully remote position.
