LCU offers programs to equip both graduate and undergraduate students for future studies and careers.

Graduates will have the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for effective intervention in working with individuals, families, and communities. Each of the graduate faculty members hold doctorates and have extensive experience in working with families in churches and social service agencies. Each graduate class is designed to help students master the competencies of an effective practitioner

National Cookie Day + National Pizza Day = A Counselor's Dream Combo

Mental Health Counseling teaches us that balance is important...
Which is why today's self-care plan includes:

*Processing emotions
*Setting healthy boundaries
*Eating cookies
*And absolutely not over thinking the extra slice of pizza

Because healing isn't always serious conversations and textbooks - sometimes it's community, comfort food, and remembering to enjoy life too.

Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and National Pizza Party Day from the future Mental Health Counselors who know that carbs and coping skills can coexist.
