Important Traffic Updates:

- The right turn lane on southbound Loop 493 (east of LCHS) has been barricaded off and is no longer accessible. This results in a very sharp right turn for drivers turning west onto Woodrow Rd. which may not be possible for commercial vehicles.
- Much of the shoulder of the westbound lane of Woodrow Rd. has also been barricaded, resulting in a very narrow westbound lane.
- Please do not drop LCHS students off at the donut shop - there is no way for them to safely cross Woodrow Rd. to access the school.

The east drive leading into the Lubbock-Cooper High School campus has been dismantled by TxDOT crews today as part of the expansion of Woodrow Road. This will impact today's afternoon pick-up and subsequent drop-offs and pick-ups. Please keep in mind that student drop-off and pick-up on the north (back) side of the LCHS building is still available, and may be the most efficient route for those impacted by drive shut-downs in the front of the building. Parents may prefer to park in the north parking lot and await student dismissal.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
