The 2015-2016 academic year is coming to an end, which means it is time to choose our next Executive Board. If you would like to become a leader on Texas Tech campus or if you would like to make campus life better for Texas Tech, apply to become an executive board member for the Habesha Student Association. Applications are due April 20th, 2016. Once applications have been submitted, emails will be sent out with further instructions regarding interviews.

2016-2017 HSA Exec. Board Application Section I

PSA: The Habesha Student Association will be hosting their last general meeting of the semester this Wednesday, November 4th in the game room of the Suites at the Overton. Come out and hear a discussion about how cultures affect the daily decisions we make. We will also be talking about preparation for A*O Weekend as well as our events and programs for the rest of the semester.

Make sure you clear room on your schedules for HSA's general meeting this Wednesday at 7pm in the Playa room of the SUB. The general meeting will give students a chance to hear the "college hacks" needed to succeed during your college career at TTU and give updates on upcoming events we have.

With the Fall semester in motion, make sure you clear your calendars so you can attend our first general meeting of the school year on September 10th at 7pm in the Canyon Room of the Student Union Building. Come out and meet our new executive board and hear about what we have in store for Texas Tech this academic year.

Here, we have it, our new HSA logo for the 2015-2016 academic year. With fall classes starting up again, your new HSA board has been working hard to give our general members another year of events that'll surpass our accomplishments from last year, and increase the diversity here at Texas Tech. Be on the lookout for event announcements and other surprises we have in store this year.

P.S. Come out August 19th during and enjoy some fun in the sun at the pool party. Your black orgs are coming together to provide fine cuisine representative of the culture that is here at Texas Tech.

With the school year finally at a close, we'd like to give a big thank you to everyone that supported us this year. Without the help of our general members, the organization couldn't have been able to do what it did. From the students that helped with volunteering to the members that helped with events, you're very much appreciated. We hope that you guys have a great summer and that you come out to support us even more next year.
