This is where his love for the practical application of music theory started, under the instruction of his incredible music theory professor, Dr. Ann Stutes. Plus a bit of friendly competition between us music theory nerds, Anne Weaver and Travis McCullough. Bonus that it was written by Mr. Harris’s future wife, Laura Harris.

What a wonderful day of music-making at the TTU Pianofest! Three Piano Marvel Academy students were chosen to perform in the Winners Concert based on their performances for judges at the festival that morning! Please enjoy these videos of their performances at the Winners Concert.

Mr. Harris likes to lead by example by consistently practicing sight-reading with the SASR tool in the Piano Marvel app. He achieved his all time high score while practicing last night!

Piano Marvel Academy classes are canceled for Tuesday, January 27th. We’re hopeful that roads will be clear enough by Wednesday, but our top priority is always the safety of our students and families.

Following the lead of local school districts, Piano Marvel Academy classes are canceled for Monday, January 26th. We will see how the ice melts off Monday and keep you updated for classes on Tuesday.

Due to the predicted severe weather, Piano Marvel Academy classes are canceled for Friday, January 23rd and Saturday, January 24th. After the weather clears, we will schedule make up classes. Everybody stay safe and warm!
