We finished up with a frog dissection last week and the kids did great. A lot of “ewww” mixed with a lot of “ohhh that’s cool.”

With the support from the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation, Mrs. Brown's LBMS 7th grade Honors RLA students collaborated to publish their essays, poetry, and short stories in an anthology! Students celebrated their growth as writers with a book-signing party!

Just like the classic flavor of Superman ice cream, Mrs. Wright brings a mix of personality, honesty, and her own unique style to the team. Mrs. Garcia’s Spanish class took a flavorful trip around the Spanish-speaking world 🌎✨

Students were each assigned a Spanish-speaking country and researched its national dish, a traditional beverage, and a classic dessert, then added an extra twist by identifying the country’s currency 💰

They brought their learning to life by designing menus and showcasing food truck-style presentations inspired by their countries. A hands-on way to explore culture, cuisine, and currency all in one delicious assignment! 🇪🇸🇲🇽🇨🇴🇦🇷

Teacher Appreciation Day was made even better thanks to Fresh Start Kitchen! 🍔🍟
