To MHS friends. Sad news to report. A fellow MHSer passed away this past week, Tony Thornton. Even though he was in the class of 73, you may remember him because he worked in the library when we went to MHS.
He will be buried in Lubbock. Thank you Sherry for posting this so I could get it on our page!

I was finally able to locate Kathy O’Donnell’s obituary…….

Kathy O'Donnell Marvin Obituary

Kathy O'Donnell Marvin passed into the arms of the Father on June 5, 2025, at the age of 70. A beloved wife, mother, and friend, she leaves behind her husband, Carroll “Chappy” Marvin, and daughters, Rachel Lewis and Rose Marvin.
Kathy lived a bold, adventurous life rooted in passion, purpose, and perseverance. She pursued her education at Texas Tech University and New Mexico State University-Alamogordo and built a successful career as a real estate broker and agent.
An expert skier, Kathy was a black diamond trailblazer, instructor, and pacesetter in Angel Fire, New Mexico. She brought that same fearless spirit to everything she did-whether on the slopes, in business, or in life.
Kathy had a special love for all birds, but the flamingo held a particular place in her heart. She often said, “When life gets rough, remember to put down your other foot”-a motto that reflects her grace, balance, and quiet strength.
A sunset celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 14, at 7:30 PM. If you know the Marvin Ranch, you have the invite.
She will be missed beyond words and remembered always-with love, light, and flamingo pink.
The Marvin family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.

Another dark day for us……we have lost our fellow Plainsmen, Bobby Pipkin. Apparently, he had been ill for awhile and finally succumbed to his illness.
Hold your people tight!

Does anyone have any information on Jeff Delisle?

Hello friends. Sadly, a fellow Plainsman, Vicki Warren (Wright) has recently passed away. Her daughter has reached out to us wanting to share this and let us know how much Vicki loved her friends at MHS. She was actually in the class of 1974, but some of you may have been friends. They asked that this be shared with our class, and her class, too. If anyone knows of a fb group for the class of ‘74, would you kindly pass this news along to them. Many thanks…. And blessings to all of you.
