This semester (Allah SWT) gave us the opportunity to go on a retreat alongside our brothers, a retreat we will one day reminisce. The impact these brothers have made will resonate throughout The Iota Chapter for many decades to come.

Just like all good things, this must also come to an end. (Allhumdulillah) this semester The Iota Chapter was able to initiate an Alpha class which will continue the legacy of the brothers that will move on to greater things, (InshAllah).

As everything comes to an end, the spring semester has come to an end. Next semester will come, as time continues to progress, and some of our brothers won’t be there with us to take on the new adventures we will face, but the memories they have left inside our hearts will always be with us! This semester Allah SWT gave us the opportunity to go on a retreat alongside our brothers, a retreat we will one day reminisce. The word “Salam” (سلام)translates to “peace” in the Arabic language. Actions of compassion and sincere intentions speak much louder than words ever can.



Last week the brothers had collaborated a rose event with Muslim student association to brighten the day of many tech students through the minuscule action of handing out a roses. Through this event we had been able to raise awareness and spark small discussions towards the topic of the lack of media attention towards atrocities that deal with minority groups. @ TTU Student Union & Activities

Yesterday the brothers had helped out, Sondra’s song, a local Lubbock organization that assists young adults transitioning out of foster care to Adult life. (College, vocational training, jobs, etc). The brothers had helped with painting the exteriors of two houses that will be used by the youth in Sondra’s Song. @ Lubbock, Texas

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand
At 1:30 on Friday afternoon, Muslims in Christchurch began their weekly prayers. A week earlier, these same prayers were interrupted by a gunman who burst into Al Noor Mosque and killed 42 people, then drove across town to kill eight more at another mosque.
This week, the Lubbock Muslim community and other Muslim communities around the globe were joined by their local communities who stood behind the rows in worship and solidarity.
