Congratulations to our amazing Lubbock ISD Art Teachers and students! Lubbock ISD is proud to once again be named a TAEA Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction, earning this prestigious honor for the eighth consecutive year! This recognition places Lubbock ISD among just 16 school districts in Texas to receive the award every year since its inception, highlighting our visual arts programs among the top 1.3% statewide. Thank you to our incredible art educators for inspiring creativity, excellence, and a love of the arts in our students every day. We are so proud of you!

What an incredible week at Lubbock ISD Theatre Camp! A huge thank you to The Allsup Family Foundation for sponsoring this year's camp and helping make this experience possible for our students. We are also grateful for our partnership with Buddy Holly Hall in bringing this exciting opportunity to life. Throughout the week, campers explored their creativity, built confidence, learned new skills, and shared unforgettable performances. We are so proud of our talented students, dedicated Directors, and everyone who helped make this year's camp a success. See you on stage again next summer!

WOW! Our students and Directors are making amazing progress on their productions for Lubbock ISD Theatre Camp this week. Students are learning about collaboration, teamwork, and patience, in addition to memorizing scripts, learning technical aspects of Theatre, plus choreography and much more! We can’t wait to see the shows at Buddy Holly Hall! Performances are on Friday in the Crickets Theatre for each group: Elementary 11:00, Middle School 2:00, and High School 6:00. Doors open 30 minutes prior to performances. Hope to see you there!!!
