Children's Advocacy Center of the South Plains

It was a full house at the Children's Advocacy Center today as we hosted the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lubbock class! We loved getting to share our mission and raise awareness about the work we do to support children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, and trauma. The class also generously donated stuffed animals and blankets for our Lovey Room to help bring joy to the children we serve. Thank you, Leadership Lubbock!

We're kicking off the holiday season with so much to be thankful for! Thank you, Frenship FFA for donating blankets and stuffed animals for our Lovey Room! These will help bring a smile to the children we are serving!

🎉🧸 What a great way to kick off the holiday season! We are feeling extra thankful for Reliant Energy ® and their generous gift of $5,000 to help us restock what we call our Lovey Room! We fill this room with teddy bears, blankets, and books to help bring comfort to the children who come in to be interviewed about their traumatic event. Lubbock Police Department Chief Seth Herman, Lubbock County DA Sunshine Stanek, and the Lubbock Regional Manager for Reliant Anna Delano joined our Executive Director Derek Danner for a special check presentation yesterday.
