Our teachers have been well fed this week. A big thank you to Green Lawn Church of Christ & Bright Horizons PTO members for donating funds.

We are so thankful for Buns Over Texas - Lubbock, Chicken Salad Chick, The Farmhouse Restaurant and Picoso's Mexican Kitchen for feeding our staff at a discount!

We have some of the best women who serve and love our kids and hope they felt loved this week!

Thank you for joining us for our program yesterday and listening to our sweet kids sing songs of Praise and remember words of truth about our God. Our music and movement team of teachers (Andrea, Gabby and Emmie) did a wonderful job.

We have several teaching and assistant teaching positions available for our 2026-2027 school year. Stay at home moms, this is a great place to work and be able to bring your kids with you (discounted tuition) to learn about Jesus and socialize. Retired teachers, you would fit right in. College students majoring in Education- make your school schedule around our days to get real life experience to put on a future resume! Thank you Lubbock County Sheriff's Office for coming out and talking to our kids about your job and showing us your car on this cold and windy day. Our kids loved it! We are so thankful for all you do to keep us safe. 🖤💙

Enrollment began for current BH families this morning. Enrollment opens to the public Wednesday morning. Visit our website after 8 AM and there will be instructions and a link to enroll via brightwheel for the 2026-2027 school year will be there. We are already over half way full for next year, so don’t delay, it is first come first serve. We are excited to be able to love and serve your family.

Chief Meteorologist Jacob Riley KLBK visited BH today. He showed us a video inside the new station then he read us a book called “Wow! Weather” to teach us about clouds, storms, and all the seasons. Thank you for coming and quizzing our teachers and teaching our kids! Look for our kids on tonight’s newscast at 5, 6, & 10!

Grown Ups with Donuts was a success! Thank you for showing up this morning and enjoying a brunch time snack with us.
