Our Community Partner, AeroCare had been in the South Plains College Center For Clinical Excellence at the Reese Campus conducting their quarterly training. They were conducting simulations on a severely burned child, and a pregnant woman with a bee sting.

Here is our newest arrival at SIMSPC in the SPC Center for Clinical Excellence at the Reese Center. What do you think of him?

SPC Associate Degree Nursing Students performed Mental Health Simulations today. Ms. Amanda Ellison, Lead Simulation Nurse, was a "Standard Patient" who played a patient with Paranoid Schizophrenia today. Her performance was spot on.

SPC Reese Vocational Nursing Class 97 performed Simulations requiring them to place Nasal Gastric Tubes on their patients today.

South Plains College Reese Center Vocational Nursing Class 98 is at the Center for Clinical Excellence today to learn how to perform health assessments on the Laerdal Simulators. This is a vital part of their training to become nurses.
