De. Jacob Bell’s Vikings class had the opportunity to visit the Southwest Collections to explore their fascinating collection of medieval manuscripts. From centuries-old texts to beautifully detailed illustrations, students were able to get a closer look at the history, culture, and storytelling traditions that shaped the medieval world.
Experiences like this bring history beyond the classroom and allow students to connect with the past in a tangible and meaningful way. A huge thank you to the Southwest Collection staff for sharing their knowledge and preserving these incredible pieces of history for future generations. ⚔️📜
