It’s football banquet night and tonight we celebrate a season defined by a championship win, grit, growth, and heart. Congratulations to our athletes for the relentless work, discipline, and Matador pride you brought to the field week after week.

A special salute to our Seniors—thank you for your leadership, dedication, and the legacy you leave behind. You’ve raised the bar and paved the way for future Matadors. 💙🖤

What an incredible way to close out the season! For nine festive days, our students and staff showed up with spirit, creativity, and Matador pride—participating every single day and making our campus shine with joy and laughter. From start to finish, the energy was contagious and the memories were priceless.

Today marked the final day of fun, and we couldn’t be more proud of our Estacado family for fully embracing the season together. 💚❤️

🎉 PBIS in action! 🎉

Yesterday, we celebrated our students who earned tickets through PBIS by consistently living out The Matador Way in all aspects of school life. These students were rewarded with an exciting trip to the Lady Raider game—joined by our SLC and SEBSS SLC classes for a great afternoon of school spirit and fun! 🏀❤️🖤

This experience was about more than basketball, it was about recognizing positive choices, accountability, and Matador pride.

We are so proud of our students for showing us what it means to do things the right way, every day.

Our Estacado Band had the honor of performing alongside the talented students from Talkington School for Young Women Leaders, and the result was a truly outstanding performance. The teamwork, musicianship, and shared passion on stage made for a powerful and memorable evening.

So proud of Mrs. Barnes’ SEBSS class for putting service into action! 💙

Last week, her students raised money through their school fundraiser and used it to purchase hygiene products for those in need.

Yesterday, they had the opportunity to visit Windmill Assisted Living Facility to personally drop off the items and spread a little kindness.

What a powerful reminder of the impact our students can make when they come together to serve others. Way to go, Matadors! 💙

Tonight marked a huge milestone for Estacado High School Theatre as we celebrated our first-ever Winter Showcase, and what an incredible success it was! This dynamic series of plays was entirely student-driven, with our talented Matadors diving deep into the creative process. From researching and selecting scenes to cutting scripts, developing characters, designing sound cues, and planning costumes, our students truly did it all.

The result? A fabulous evening of storytelling, creativity, and confidence that showcased just how talented and dedicated our theatre students are.

A huge thank you to our amazing Theatre Director, Mr. Tabor, for leading, inspiring, and guiding our students every step of the way. We are so proud of this program and excited for what’s to come!👏🎬

Our Student Council is proud to continue the Pennies, Nickels, Dimes & Quarters Drive in support of the U Can Share Fund Drive!

To help us raise even more for this great cause, the donation deadline has been extended to Tuesday, December 16th. Second period classes are collecting donations, and the class that raises the most money will earn a pizza party as a fun incentive. 🍕

We invite parents, families, and community members to support our students by donating spare change and helping us make a difference for those in need. Every coin truly counts!
