Mrs. Reed’s class had such a fun Friday learning about the Reno Balloon Festival happening in Reno, Nevada next weekend! They read a news article, answered some questions, made a balloon craft, and even had some fun with their own hot air balloons! 💙💛

Mrs. Reed’s class sure had a good ‘ole time in PE today with the hoola hoops!

Buddy fun continues to happen as well as Mrs. Wilbanks and Mrs. V’s class spent recess together!

Growing as a school family every day! Rush is definitely the place to be! 💙💛

💙💛 **More Buddy Time + BIG Learning at the Nest!** 💛💙

We love seeing our Buddy Classes building connections across grade levels! Today, **Ms. Carrillo’s 1st graders and Ms. Phillips’ 4th graders** met up for some relationship building AND reading! 📚🥰 There’s just something special about watching our older Roadrunners encourage and connect with our younger kiddos!

And the learning didn’t stop there! 👏 We popped into **5th grade** and saw some AMAZING engagement strategies in action as students flexed their **decimal place value knowledge**! 🧠✨ Students were thinking, talking, moving, and showing what they know!

Relationships + engagement + meaningful learning = a pretty great day at the Nest! 🏃‍♀️💙💛

💙💛 **Amazing things are happening at The Nest!** 💛💙

Just a FEW of the wonderful things we caught today…

📚 Mrs. Morris popped into **Mrs. McMahan’s class** and caught students pair reading during their skills lesson! Students were engaged, supporting one another, and putting their phonics strategies to work as they sounded out unfamiliar words. 👏

🏆 During **Ms. Carrillo’s WIN time**, students were busy learning in different ways—receiving targeted small-group instruction, working on Amira, and even practicing CVC words with Bingo! Learning + fun = a WIN! 🎯 We love to see students leading students!

🌟 And **4th grade WIN time** was incredible across ALL THREE classrooms! We saw purposeful small groups, meaningful stations, and activities designed to help students not just practice a skill, but understand the **WHY behind their learning.**

And these were only a few snapshots from today! Everywhere we turned, we saw students thinking, teachers teaching with intention, and learning happening at high levels.

We are so proud of our Roadrunners and the incredible educators who make moments like these happen every single day! 💙💛
