OFFICER SPOTLIGHT!!

Hi cuties! My name is Emily Cisneros and I am your 2018-2019 TSTA Secretary. I’m a Lubbock local and grew up attending Whiteside Elementary, Irons Middle School, and Coronado High School (in case any of you get placed there, feel free to reach out about my experiences at those schools). This year I am a Senior Education major and am doing student teaching at Wester Elementary in my dream position- 5th grade science! My eventual goal is to open a STEAM school for economically disadvantaged students. I wanted to become an educator after spending years volunteering in East Lubbock programs and recognizing the need for young students have positive, motivating role models and mentors. Outside of TechTeach, I remain involved in the community by teaching local dance lessons, mentoring teenagers, and being involved in my church. A little fun tidbit of information about me- I have visited at least 7 countries and will be marrying my best friend this summer! Look out for my hashtag .

OFFICER SPOTLIGHT:
Hello, my name is Prebble Hare and I am the TSTA-AE President. I am excited to give you the opportunity to get to know your 2019-20 Officers. To begin, I was born in Colorado and was raised in San Antonio, Texas. I am classified as senior scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and Early Childhood K-6 and Special Education certification. I have chosen to become an educator because I want to create a welcoming and positive environment for children to grow up in. Every student was created to go great things and deserves to be loved. I do not know what the future holds, however would love to teach 2nd grade Math and Science. An interesting fact about me is that I kicked a field goal at a Texas Tech football game and won a trip to Vegas.
