The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy, sponsored by Charles Schwab Foundation, is a one-of-a-kind summer program that offers rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors education and training in the core areas of personal financial management. Participants will gain firsthand experience working as part of a team during a week of events and competitions designed to increase financial kno

wledge and know-how. These events will include working on a financial planning case study, developing a financial plan, and participating in other competitions for scholarships and prizes. In addition to promoting financial literacy among America's youth, the camp will provide insight into the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) industry and show students the value of financial planning as a profession. The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy combines the summer fun that students crave with the real world financial knowledge they need. It also gives students the chance to meet new friends, explore career options, and win scholarships and prizes - all in just one week!
