To the victor go the spoils after 13 rounds of Battle and Crazy prompts!! Hubcity Art Battle Invitational results: Congrats to Sergio Mateos for successfully Defending his Title this year. As winner he was awarded the most Prestigious of Drawing Trophies!!! Sergio hails from all around really and travels across the nation working caricature gigs, festivals, and etc. His Love for the craft of Drawing and Painting is great and demonstrated through the ex*****on of concepts provided by the contest's challenges. +++ Drawing Horse Studios wishes him all the best as he travels back home and also continues his tour working the fairs.

Hosting the 3rd ANNUAL Hubcity Art Battle at the studio tonight. Artists from around the country will gather to claim the Drawing Horse Studios Championship. Returning Champ Sergio Mateos enters to defend his title. Will he succeed or will a new champion be crowned??? More info as the friendly competition develops.

Week 4 is here!!

Hell's Gate. 3111 Canyon Lake Dr, Behind the cemetery, just park alongside the road next to the dam and it's a just a brief walk to the track bridge where I'll be set up!!

See any available peeps at the park. Dont forget to bring your sunblock, an umbrella/hat, water, folding chair, and art supplies.

First week in June
-Buddy Holly Park, meet by party house
SATURDAY JUNE 10TH CANCELLED, See you Wednesday Jun 14th!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second week in (June 14th & 17th)
-Mackenzie Park, meet down the hill by Moonlight theater

Third week in (June 21st & 24th)
-Down Town Lubbock, meet at Drawing Horse Studios

Fourth week in (June 28th)
-Hell's Gate, only Wednesday the 28th no Saturday meet up

This round is gonna be easy with minimal hiking or walking. we shall meet up 15 minutes before 10 to introduce, possible shuttling, and get a lay of the land. I just want to test the waters and see who is available.

Everyone is welcome and all skill levels are encouraged to attend.

This is a FREE event and open to all.

Bring whatever art supplies you'd like to draw or paint with!!!
Note, art materials won't be supplied.
