2022 Anvil Winners were presented May 19 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City recognizing such top brands as UPS, Delta Airlines, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Royal Caribbean. This year’s Best of Silver Anvil Award went to the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General with FGS Global, for their work on Minnesota v. Chauvin, one of the most high-profile and consequential criminal cases of the 21st century.

According to Muck Ruck's State of PR 2022 report:
- More than half of PR pros say their top challenge is getting responses from journalists, with agencies (59%) more challenged than brands (43%).
- Most PR pros pitch 4 or more media types—the most popular are online/digital publications, newspapers, magazines and TV.
