Where kids come in to learn about theatre, challenge their fears, make discoveries about themselves, I loved it with all my heart, it was a passion.

A lot going on the next couple of week. Hutch presents "High School Musical, Jr." and Lubbock High School has a public performance of their State Qualifying show of "The Unreturning." Please come out and support these amazing theatre programs and theirs students.

Hutchinson Musical Theatre will be having their first performance showcase of the year on Wednesday, December 1st at 5:15 at the Buddy Holly Hall Crickets Theatre. Tickets are free and donations are welcomed.

Kicking off Year 15. Eager to kick off a new school year and get back to the real classroom feeling. My goal this year is to bring life back to our Theatre page.
Hutch One Act Play did a fantastic job last week. We have ratings of 2s and 3s in various areas of performance. We also had 1 Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, 2 All-Star Cast, and 1 Outstanding Performer. Really proud of these students!!
I don't post on this Facebook nearly as much as I should. I need to make that more of a priority so that people can see what's going on with Hutch Theatre. COVID has put a wrench in a lot of things this year, but I am excited to say that we do get to have a One Act Play Festival this Tuesday at Buddy Holly Hall. We will be performing "An Absolutely True Story as Told by a Bunch of Lying Liars." I'm excited for the kids to have this opportunity to perform a play amid the pandemic and that it gets to be within Lubbock's new performance venue.
