Maryam Seifishahpar and Ashti Morovati, doctoral students in the College of Health and Human Sciences, earned honors at the 2024 American Society for Nutrition Conference for their respective research.
Seifishahpar's work is focused on beneficial changes in gut bacteria & intestinal genes, while Morovati's aims to reduce inflammation of specific immune cells in the brain.
