Her diverse background has equipped her with the skills, compassion, and insight necessary to make a lasting impact on the lives of students and families.

Mrs. Middleton brings a wealth of educational experience, a passion for student success, and a heart for serving middle school students. She comes to us after teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade mathematics and RTI intervention courses, where she built a reputation for creating engaging learning environments, using data to drive instruction, and helping students grow both academically and personally.

What truly stood out during the interview process was Mrs. Middleton's unwavering belief that relationships come first. She understands that great teaching is about more than numbers and equations—it's about knowing students, supporting them, encouraging them, and helping them discover their potential. Many of our students and families already know Coach Palmer from her outstanding work as an AVID teacher and girls coach. Throughout her time at Mackenzie, she has built meaningful relationships, inspired students to achieve their best, and consistently demonstrated what it means to lead with heart, integrity, and purpose.

Coach Palmer understands that athletics is about much more than wins and losses. It is about building confidence, developing character, fostering teamwork, and preparing young people for success both on and off the field of play. Her vision, energy, and unwavering commitment to student growth make her the ideal person to lead our girls athletics program into an exciting new chapter.
