Join us in congratulating the students and faculty of our department, who emerged as one of the nation’s top collegiate programs at this year’s Ag Media Summit.

Our students captured 23 awards in the National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT) Professional Improvement Conference contests, including four Awards of Excellence, nine first-place finishes and seven second-place honors during the annual conference.

Ciao from Italy!

Our agricultural communications focused study abroad adventure has officially begun!

During the first four days, our 19 students explored the Veneto region, including Venice, Burano, Sant'Erasmo, and the Prosecco Hills, where they experienced the connections between agriculture, agritourism, and Italian culture.

From local agricultural production to meeting with industry clients, students are learning firsthand how communication and marketing help tell the story of Italian agriculture.
