FRC Team 4717 won the 2026 Innovation in Control Award!
"The Innovation in Control Award sponsored by nVent celebrates an innovative control system or application of control components - electrical, mechanical, or software - to provide unique machine functions.
This "wild" team bucked onto the field with unwavering resolve. Their autonomous technology was truly "in a different world". When it come to leading the way in innovation, these competitors are riding boldly into the sunset,

Our FTC Team Won at our League meet, won the REACH award, and is advancing to Regionals! Our FRC team won the League A Volunteer or the Year Award, as well!

Today our FTC Team, 4859 Competed in the second League A FTC competition. The Westerner Robotics team finished in 11th place, Go Westerners!

Today our FTC team, 4859 competed in their first scrimmage of the season. In their last match of the day they broke the event high score with 55 points! A special thank you to our volunteers and staff for making this event run smoothly!

Our PR Chief doing amazing things!
11th grader, Blaise Martinez, has been invited to present her research, the Analysis of Glacier Melt: Earth’s Changing Cryosphere Over Time, at the American Geophysical Union fall meeting. The AGU’s annual meeting holds 25,000 people from over 100 different countries. This meeting is composed of a huge community of scientists, educators, students, and policymakers who share research to better understand the planet. She will be presenting with her teammates this December in San Francisco. Congratulations Blaise!
