Hodges Elementary School

We are so thankful for the Rotary Clubs in Lubbock. The Rotary Club of Lubbock provided yesterday’s bicycles, and the Rotary Club of Greater Southwest Lubbock for the bicycles today. They truly serve our students, staff and community.

Today our first grade students present their research projects to other grade levels. So proud of their hardwork and confidence to present to their peers.

Today was our final 4th and 5th grade luncheon. It has been an opportunity for our 5th graders to share letters to the upcoming students encouraging them to step up into their new rolls as leaders, mentors, and scholars. It was particularly special as they challenged them to maintain the same HERD expectations as they enter their new campuses next year. Once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn!

Graduation Walk today. We love our students getting to see the seniors in their cap and gown.

We had a wonderful playday. Thank you to Aldersgate Church for providing the Foam Party and Dunk tank!

We can’t wait to get the HERD back together tomorrow!

The students had a fun time with our Cinco de Mayo market this afternoon.
