Hands-on science has never tasted so good! 🍭 Last week, our 5th-grade scientists explored the properties of mixtures:

1. Weigh every sweet ingredient separately ⚖️
2. Mix them up into one giant Candy Salad 🥗
3. Prove that total mass doesn't change after mixing!

The takeaway? Items in a mixture keep their unique physical properties, mass is conserved, and science is always better when you get to eat the experiment! 🧠✨

Our amazing teachers and staff are starting the week with purpose and intentionality—pulling small groups, providing targeted instruction, and creating meaningful learning opportunities to help every student grow.

📚✏️ Kindergarten is hard at work at East Elementary! 💙

Our Kinder students are already making the most of every moment in the classroom! From learning and practicing how to write uppercase and lowercase O, to listening to great books, exploring book bins, reading independently, and sharing their thoughts during class discussions—there is so much learning happening at East!

In Kindergarten, learning begins from day one, and we love seeing the excitement, curiosity, and enthusiasm our youngest learners bring to school each day. 🌟

We are so proud of the great start our Kinder students have made and can’t wait to watch them learn, grow, and shine throughout the year! ❤️ 🖤 💙 📖

The first week of school calls for a little extra energy—and The Soda Shack delivered! 🥤💙✨

As we welcomed our East students back to campus, we also had the opportunity to show some love to our amazing staff with delicious drinks and a much-needed boost to keep them going strong!

A huge THANK YOU to The Soda Shack for partnering with East Elementary and helping us bring smiles (and some extra caffeine! 😉) to our hardworking staff.

We are so grateful for our LCP East Community Partners who continually show up, support our campus, and help us spoil the incredible people who make East such a special place to be! ❤️ 🖤 💙
