Mrs. LeBlanc teaches Kindergarten at East Elementary and is so deserving of this honor. She sets high expectations for all students, works tirelessly to help her students succeed, and most importantly, is a true champion for East Elementary every single day.
What makes this recognition even more special is that Mrs. LeBlanc was nominated and selected by her peers at East Elementary. We are so thankful for the impact she makes on our students, staff, and campus community. Congratulations, Mrs. LeBlanc!

Today our 2nd Grade students at East Elementary brought history to life during their Historical Figures Living Museum Showcase!
For the past several weeks, our students have been researching influential historical figures, learning about their accomplishments, challenges, and lasting impact on our world. Today, they transformed into their chosen figures — dressing the part and proudly standing beside the presentation boards they created to share their learning.
Families and loved ones filled the cafeteria for this special event, and our students did an outstanding job presenting their projects, speaking with confidence, and teaching visitors about the important people they studied. It was incredible to see history come alive through their hard work, creativity, and dedication!
We are so proud of our 2nd graders and their teachers and grateful to the parents and families who joined us to celebrate their learning. ❤️

AMEND is a program that began through the YWCA. At East Elementary, AMEND brings together a group of fifth-grade young men who are learning and growing as they explore what it means to be responsible, respectful young men.
On Thursday evening, the AMEND students hosted a Spaghetti Dinner where they shared many of the meaningful lessons they have learned throughout the school year. The young men prepared a meal, set the tables, served an honored guest, and practiced polite dinner conversation.
We are incredibly proud of these young men and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future!
