Now the teenager has written a book to help others facing the same diagnosis. Michael Diab, M.D., a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and professor at the School of Medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo, performed Wagnerโs surgeries. His picture appears in the book, and he said the information could help other young patients.
