Celebrating Sauvignon Blanc Day — Texas style 🍷
This International Sauvignon Blanc Day, it’s worth recognizing how Texas producers, particularly in the High Plains and Dell Valley, are earning serious credibility in major competitions:

🏅 La Valentía (Wine for the People) — Gold + Class Champion - Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo “Vine 2 Wine” International Wine Competition
🏅 Becker Vineyards — Silver (San Francisco International)
🏅 Spicewood Vineyards — Silver (SF Chronicle)
And it’s not just Sauvignon Blanc, producers like Duchman, Pedernales, and Bending Branch are pulling Double Gold and Best-of-Class for other varietals at major international competitions.
What sets Texas Sauvignon Blanc apart?
• High-elevation vineyards (3,000+ ft)
• Limestone + caliche soils
