Today our color guard teams competed at Palo Duro High School in Amarillo. One of our coed color guard teams won second place against some very tough competition. All of our cadets did a great job. We also got to visit the new Buc'ees in Amarillo before we returned home. Please check out the photo album.

The clean up at Milestones is happening, be at the school at 6:30pm.
Milestones opens at 1pm, I will contact them when they open and let everyone know if we’re still going to help them clean up.
On December 17th the Matador Battalion held our annual promotion board for our first year (LET 1) cadets. Those that attended and passed the board will receive their first promotions at the start of second semester. Our cadets were a little nervous but they did a great job! Our cadets are working at the Salvation Army. We are making sure that children have a Merry Christmas!
Yesterday, December 5th VFW District Commander Mr. Benny Guerrero came to visit in order to congratulate our cadets on their participation in the West Texas Salute to Veterans. He also presented the Battalion with a check for our participation. He also informed us that all three of our color guard teams that competed had won trophies. One first place, one second place and one third place. Our cadets are the ones who make all of this happen and we are very proud of their accomplishments. Today our cadets assisted with the West Texas Salute to Veterans that was held at the Windmill Museum in Lubbock. Our color guard teams also competed against Lubbock High School, Plainview High School and Caprock High School. Our cadets did a great job with both the competition and helping our Lubbock area veterans! Please check out the photo album.
Last evening our cadets assisted at the Golden Corral with their annual Veterans Appreciation dinner. Our cadets did a great job, as they always do. Please check out the photo album.
I just created two new photo albums. Our first drill meet at Central High School in San Angelo. The second album has photos from the Lubbock Veterans Day parade and a color guard we performed at the Silent Wings museum. Enjoy!
