Ms. Wadley did an amazing job presenting at the 2025 Region 17 Texas Council of Women School Executives Empowerment Luncheon!!!! We are so proud to have her represent our school!

Our panelists, Dr. Kathy Kinnison Rollo, Dr. Lisa Ramirez and Dr. Julia Stephen shared from an extremely transparent, authentic and inspiring perspective! Not only was Ms. Wadley an excellent speaker, but Eric Patie Braden, Monique Garrett and Quali Metra were as well!!

Dr. Maya Angelou said it best, “Each time a woman stands up for herself, she is standing up for all women.”

What a great show! All of our Astronauts sounded great! Thank you to all of our families and friends that showed your support tonight! We had a full house and our learners fed off that energy!

You can wear your Halloween costume tomorrow for $1! No blood, weapons, or inflatables will be allowed. In addition, all costumes must be school-appropriate. All of the money collected will go to the United Way! Thank you!

Astronauts! We are having a spirit week next week for United Way! Each day, you can pay $1 to participate in the fun or $4 for the whole week! All of the money collected will go to United Way, and we will welcome all donations for this great cause! We do want to remind all of our Astronauts that all of our spirit days must still be school appropriate and meet dress code.

🏀⛹️‍♂️✨ Boys Basketball Tryouts 🏀⛹️‍♂️✨
Tryouts will be held on October 30, November 4, and November 5.
• 8th Grade: Morning tryouts begin at 6:50 a.m.
• 7th Grade: Tryouts will be held during their athletic period and will end at 5:30 p.m.

Teams will be made on November 6!

What a season it has been! 🏈💙 Both our 7th and 8th grade football teams wrapped up their seasons against Hutch and Terra Vista, respectively. The growth and dedication shown by our players are truly inspiring! Coaches can’t wait to continue working with them in basketball and wrestling. Great job to all the McCool Astronauts who worked hard to audition for the Region 16 All-Region Choir. We’re proud to announce we had a student qualify! He will advance to the concert and clinic on November 15th. 💕🎶
