Join us as we look back on an amazing year filled with growth, achievements, and unforgettable moments at Lubbock Junior Academy. From academic excellence to exciting activities, our students have truly shined!
In the first two weeks of school at Lubbock Junior Academy, our students have embarked on an exciting journey of learning and growth. With Dr. Paez and Mr. Keith’s help they've enthusiastically started cultivating a garden, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.
Under the guidance of Ms. Nikki, they've delved into captivating science experiments, igniting their curiosity and passion for discovery.
The artistic talents of our students have flourished as they explored various creative avenues during Art class with Ms. Elizabeth. Through vibrant colors and imaginative expressions, they've learned to communicate and appreciate the beauty around them.
Amidst all these experiences, our students have also taken time to delve into the teachings of the Bible, learning valuable life lessons that will guide them on their journey. These two weeks have laid a strong foundation for a year filled with exploration, learning, and personal development, and we can't wait to see how their enthusiasm and growth continue to unfold.

This is Arturo, an 8th grader. Described by his classmates as competitive, athletic, honest and cool.
An experience that I probably won’t forget in LJA is when I was in Fifth grade. My teacher was talking about how were baby’s form and when they are born and all of those things. When she was talking, she said a word that I did not know what it was, so I ask her and she started laughing with all my classmates but I did not understand what was happening until she told me what it was, and then my smile disappeared. Here is a clue, it was a part of a girls body.
This is Justin, an 8th grader. Described by his classmates as kind, nice, smart and a classmatewho is always happy.
My first year here at LJA was one of my best years. Being new at LJA was different though, because at my school I wasn’t the new kid. Eventually, I started knowing my other classmates, and my first friends were Keon, Richy and Arturo. One of my memories I remember is a time where Richy and I would s***k each other. After sometime, Richy and I broke our teacher’s mug. Then both of us had to glue the mug back together.
Overall, I had too many great memories and I had a great time in LJA.

“Our Christian education is precious to us because it is the base of our entire lives, lives that may someday affect cities, states, or even nations. We are young people now. What will we become? It depends on our mold, and our school is one of the major molders of our lives.”
