🍁🍂🍁Adirondack peak leaf season is here at Beaver Camp! The leaves are STUNNING this year ✨️

We are enjoying Fall Family Weekend and taking in all the beauty around us.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to provide hands-on education to kids in our community through Beaver River Advisory Council and Brookfield Power grant funding! Children from local schools and homeschool co-ops are given the opportunity to come to Beaver Camp and spend time learning about the ecosystems and infrastructure that make much of our electrical supply possible.

The photos show one canoe trip recently taken by 7th-12th graders from Beaver Camp to the power plant at Moshier Reservoir. Brookfield Power employees gave an overview of the history of the operation and discussed questions the students had about electricity production and the function of the plant.

🍂Fall retreats are underway!🍂

We're loving the Adirondack beauty that is showing up in the colors, sunrises, and fog over the lake as well as the amazing people that have joined us so far for Young Adult Weekend and the Marriage Retreat.

Next up we have Fall Family Retreat, a second Marriage Retreat, and Scrap & Craft Retreat 🤩🤩

Want to learn more?! Check out our fall progams here: https://beavercamp.org/camps-and-retreats

There's something special about taking time to slow down and be present with other people in a place like this - whether it means bringing your whole family for Fall Family Retreat, grabbing a friend and a favorite craft for Scrap and Craft Retreat, or spending the intentional time with your spouse at Marriage Retreat. An all-inclusive Adirondack Retreat while you get to recharge and be present with a unique community of people is something we are excited to offer! We would love to have you join us!

Looking for more formal ways to get involved? We're working to build our AMCA Partner base (monthly donors) to 100 people giving $100 each per month! OR check out what it means to become a member of the AMCA and invest in the future of Beaver Camp.
