I once groomed a Pomeranian.

I was an expert cat groomer. How hard could it be?

Turns out, pretty damn hard. 😂

Poor Puff Puff came out clean, fluffy, dematted... and apparently looking like I’d groomed him with my eyes closed.

Because here’s the thing:

Being really good at grooming one species does NOT automatically make you good at grooming another.

I learned that lesson at the expense of one tiny Pomeranian and my dignity.

Dog groomers learning cats sometimes learn it at the expense of considerably more. 😬
