This summer we're convening down the driveway at the swimming hole on the river in the mornings to avoid the heat. It's nicely shaded. We love throwing rocks and sticks into the water, climbing the big rocks, and walking down to the big barn to say hello to the cows and Miss Martha Ray, the barn cat. We eat snack at the picnic table and go back up to the house for lunch and nap. We put a fish trap in the water today - maybe there will be something in there tomorrow morning when we check it!
