As we near the beginning of a new school year, this is a reminder that the first day of school for our Preschool Lakota Immersion Program is August 24.
Your child’s file must be complete before they can begin school. If you know you are still missing documents, please do not wait for us to contact you, get them to Program Director Amanda Charger as soon as possible.
Required documents include:
• Birth certificate
• Tribal enrollment or CIB, if applicable
• Up to date immunization records
• Dental examination
• Physical examination
We understand that dental and physical appointments can be difficult to schedule, so proof of a scheduled appointment may be accepted while we work with families to complete their child’s file.
Please check your calls, texts, emails, and Facebook messages. We are doing everything we can to prepare for your child, but we need your help too. Your child cannot start our program until their file is complete.
Our families are an important part of making this program successful, and we appreciate your help in making sure every child is ready for their first day.
