The Lowellville School Foundation, a non-profit volunteer organization, was established by the Board of Education to improve the education of Lowellville Students by providing educational resources for curriculum enrichment and for scholarships following graduation. Since its inception in 2006, the Lowellville School Foundation has awarded a total of $91,500 to 54 graduating seniors. Each year, al
l Lowellville High School seniors are invited to apply for a scholarship. Recipients are chosen on a point system based on GPA, ACT score, extra-curricular activities, written essay and interview. Applicants with the highest point totals are chosen to receive a scholarship. In 2011, the Foundation initiated a Teacher Grant Program and annually invites teachers to apply for grants for classroom educational materials. The Foundation awards up to $1,000 per individual and $2,500 per group. A donation to the Lowellville School Foundation allows you to leave a legacy for generations to come.
