Hi All!

MWiB would like to congratulate the UMass Lowell Men's D2 Rugby team for making it to Nationals this year! Much like our organization, the Men's Rugby team operates similarly to a student club, which means they receive very limited funding.

Please think about donating to their GoFund Me page and help the team get to South Carolina! Any amount is greatly appreciated, even as low as a $5 donation.

Let's get them to Nationals and wish them luck on a big victory!!

Women in the U.S. are typically paid 80 cents for every dollar paid to men.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This may not seem like a huge wage gap- but this can accumulate to about half a million dollars less than men over the course of a professional career.

Thank you to Dr. Beth Humberd for encouraging us young women to negotiate our salaries early (even in a co-op position!) and explaining how to do so professionally.

If you have any more questions feel free to email Professor Humberd at [email protected]
