As our students anticipate (or dread, let's be real) the classes in the week ahead, we send up prayers that God's Word takes deep root in their lives!
We pray that what they learn in class doesn't just stay in the classroom, but transforms how they love others at school, at home, and across our community.

🍁 LOWELL HARVEST FESTIVAL FUN! 🎨

LifeWise had an absolute blast connecting with our community at the recent Lowell Harvest Festival!

Between the games and face painting, so many families stopped by our booth to say hello, ask questions, and learn more about what God is doing through LifeWise.

A huge shoutout to Alice, her brother Axton, and two other students who jumped right in to help with face painting! They did a fantastic job and our two students eagerly shared their own LifeWise experiences with the kids and parents who came by.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to FamilyDoc DPC in Lowell for sponsoring our booth and partnering with us to make this day so special for local families!

Aren't you so grateful for a God who shows up right in the middle of our doubt? While we know it's never a question of whether He is present, God is so loving that He meets us right in the "if."
Doubt doesn't scare our God—He welcomes our honest hearts. When our kids call out with the simple faith of a child, He listens, and He shows up each and every time! ❤️💛

🍎 Through our Lens: MEET KATIE CHEW! 📖
Today, we are thrilled to spotlight one of our amazing educators, Katie Chew! She teaches our 4th and 5th graders from Cherry Creek Elementary.
When asked about her favorite part of LifeWise, Katie shared: "My favorite thing is sharing my love of studying God's Word with the next generation."
Katie also offered this beautiful encouragement for parents, guardians, and anyone exploring what it means to follow Jesus:
"I deeply believe a sure defense against the darkness of this world is to raise and disciple the next generation to know and love God and His Word. Keep pressing into the hard questions and deep discussions—your effort isn't in vain. Proverbs 9:10 says, 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.'"
We are so grateful for Katie's passion, heart for scripture, and dedication to discipling our Lowell students!

✏️ WHAT’D WE LEARN WEDNESDAY?
Our elementary students had another incredible week digging into God's Word and discovering how the Old Testament points us straight to Jesus and His ultimate plan of salvation! 📖✨
📜 God’s Law & Holiness (Exodus 19–20): Students explored the giving of the Law and learned that God is completely holy. While our sin separates us from Him, Jesus came to bridge the gap, forgive our sin, and welcome us into God’s family! ✝️
🐍 Looking to Jesus for Life (Numbers 20–21): Students looked at the story of the bronze snake in the wilderness. Just like the Israelites who looked at the snake on the pole were saved, anyone who looks to Jesus on the cross and trusts in Him is given eternal life with God! 🙌

At LifeWise, building godly character in our students is at the heart of everything we do! Today, we’re spotlighting a vital character quality: Self-Control—not acting carelessly on our own impulses, emotions, and desires. 🧠✨
We love helping kids understand that while we can't always stop big feelings or sudden impulses from popping up, God gives us the strength to pause, take a breath, and choose wise actions instead of reacting on impulse.

🦅 MIDDLE SCHOOL RECAP 📖
Our middle schoolers had a powerful discussion in class as they dove into the story of Joseph in Genesis 37!
Together, they wrestled with some big, practical truths:
✦ God does not show favoritism.
✦ God is always near to His people, no matter what.
✦ We can’t always control what other people do—or even the sudden feelings that pop up inside us—but we can control what we choose to do with those feelings.
It was such an encouraging lesson on self-control, grace, and trusting that God is right beside us when tough situations pop up in everyday life.
