REMINDER THAT STUDENTS SHOULD NO LONGER WEAR THEIR SUMMER UNIFORM. NO MORE SHORTS!!! BOYS IN GRADES 4-8 WEAR THEIR KHAKI OR BLUE PANTS (K-3) WITH THEIR POLO SHIRT, GIRLS WEAR THEIR SKORT OR JUMPERS WITH POLO OR YELLOW DRESS SHIRT WITH BLUE KNEE HIGH SOCKS OR TIGHTS. ANY QUESTIONS, REACH OUT!!!.
WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION
Registration is open for basketball (which starts at the end of November) and bowling which starts in January. Sign up with the link below! Remember that all athletes and coaches must complete the Concussion Video and upload the certificate. Don’t forget that parents and child must watch the video from separate email accounts in order to print out certificates with each name on it. (one with parent name and one with child’s name).

CROSS COUNTY NEWS
Our boys and girls team cross country teams beat Innovation Academy to extend our records to 5-0! Our top 5 boys were James Kane, Michael Riley, Thomas Owens, Theo Robinson, and Ryan Kane! Our top 5 girls were Vivian Shanley, Michael Marshall, Ranna Isaak, Maggie Branco, and Josephine Molinari! Congrats to all!
EMERGENCY TUITION GRANT
An Emergency Grant from the Catholic School Foundation is now open for families in grades K-8. If you have experienced an emergency in your family, such as losing a job or a recent family tragedy, etc., we can request a one-time grant to help with tuition. The Catholic School Foundation will help families who qualify with an emergency in their family if they qualify. Please reach out to Miss Fiorino to schedule a time to complete the application.
HALLOWEEN AT ICS
Students, faculty and staff may dress up for Halloween on Friday, 10/30. Please no masks! No weapons or facsimile weapons are allowed; face makeup is allowed. Classroom teachers and/or room parents will be in touch if a party or snack is planned for classrooms.

TRUNK OR TREAT INFORMATION
Our Trunk or Treat is just around the corner, and we would love to see everyone there.
Event Time: 1:30–2:30 PM
Trunk Setup: Gates open at 12:30 PM for families decorating their vehicles and handing out candy.
As of today, we have 105 students registered, and we’re hoping that number continues to grow. If you’re planning to hand out candy, we recommend preparing for approximately 150–175 children.
Our Candy Monster will be delivered to school on Tuesday, and candy donations can also be dropped off beginning Tuesday for anyone who would like to contribute but cannot decorate a trunk. Last year a few of our trunks ran out of candy and your donations really helped out. Thank you to all the families who donated last year.
Want to Decorate a Trunk? We’re still looking for families to decorate their vehicles. If you’re interested, reach out to us. We’d love to have you.

MCM BRAIDED PASTRIES AND CAKE FUNDRAISER
Our Pastry and Cake fundraiser is here and is running from October 5th through October 19th. Flyers went out in the October family envelopes. Pastries and Cake will be delivered to the school for pickup just in time for Thanksgiving on November 24th. Upcoming Events
DRAMA CLUB
The Drama Club will be sponsoring, “Ghoul School” on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. which starts in our cafeteria. This event can be scary for young students so they suggest ages 6 and up to attend. The fee is $5 to get in. All funds received will be used to help pay for the bus for the Drama competition in the Spring.
Planning is now taking place for our annual Christmas Fair which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6. More information will be coming.
REMINDER TO MARK YOUR CHILD’S WATER BOTTLE, LUNCH BOX, SWEATSHIRT, HATS, AND COATS WITH THEIR NAME OR INITIALS. LOST AND FOUND IS FILLING UP!

FOOD COLLECTION FOR ST. VINCENT DEPAUL
St. Vincent DePaul reached out for help with food items. The food bank is becoming depleted and they asked for our help. A notice was sent home in the family envelope with items that are needed. If you are able, please purchase an item and drop off at school. We will collect this food until Nov. 14.
