ALUMNI — WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

JESSICA GERNER (BESAW), Lowell High School Class of 2006

Jessica graduated from LHS, where soccer and athletic training sparked her interest in healthcare and ultimately led her to nursing. After spending much of her career in the Neuro ICU, she continued her education and became a Nurse Practitioner.

This year, she opened her own Direct Primary Care practice, Jessica Gerner, NP- Direct Primary Care in Crown Point.

Tri-Creek has continued to be a big part of her life. She married another Tri-Creek graduate, and they now have two children who both attend Tri-Creek schools.

She shared that it has been especially meaningful to see her children grow up in the same school community that helped shape both her and her husband.

Once a Red Devil, ALWAYS A RED DEVIL.

Get the facts before you vote!
Riding the bus to and from school during the regular school day is always 100% free for students in Indiana. State law prohibits school districts from charging bus fees for daily transportation. Fees are only applied for extracurricular trips, such as sports and club travel.

Share the facts with your neighbors! More facts on the Tri-Creek Referendum webpage. https://www.tricreek.k12.in.us/about/financial-info

TRI-CREEK STORIES — It's More Than What Happens in the Classroom — Tri-Creek Parent Christina

I am the parent of a 1st and 5th grader and have loved living in Lowell and our school system.

My daughter's favorite person she wrote about in her school book for last year was Mr. D. her bus driver. She would look forward to seeing him every morning and at drop off.

Bus drivers are so important because for many they are the first to see students and last to see students for their entire school day.

We are forever thankful for his dedication in keeping our kids safe and making those connections with our kiddos.

Thank you, Christina, for sharing your Tri-Creek Story!
