Preparing children for Kindergarten in a fun, natural, farm environment. With 22 years experience as a preschool teacher, I understand how children learn.

I have had training in many different teaching philosophies and curriculum. I use what I feel are the best attributes from what I have learned to provide a unique, eclectic approach to teaching. I share traditional child developmental goals by addressing each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, but accomplish these goals through experiences in nature. I have always know

n that animals, plants, water and other aspects of the natural world draw children in as learners. Farmtime Preschool is a place where children’s outdoor experiences are considered a vital part of the school day.
